Adam L. Szilagyi, Esquire

Attorney at Law, Owner

Attorney Szilagyi is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Conestoga Valley High School in 2002, he moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University. He graduated from Temple in 2006 and then attended law school at Drexel University School of Law, where he graduated in 2009. In August of 2009, Attorney Szilagyi returned to Lancaster to begin practicing law at Goldberg & Beyer. During his tenure at Goldberg & Beyer, he was shown the ropes by his mentor, Attorney Alan Goldberg. During his 12-plus years at Goldberg & Beyer, Attorney Szilagyi represented private and court-appointed clients, handled the firm’s appellate cases, wrote most of the firm’s motions filed, and absorbed as much information as was made available. Attorney Szilagyi is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Lancaster Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Adam fashions himself a media connoisseur with a passion for music, movies, and television shows. He enjoys attending concerts, collecting artwork, and buying sneakers that he rarely gets to wear. In addition to these more relaxing and lighthearted pursuits, Adam has always had a strong anti-authoritarian bent and an inclination to fight for the “little guy.” He is a stickler for fairness, and that natural disposition drives the passion he has for the practice of law.

Attorney Szilagyi has built a reputation for being persistent and thorough, sometimes to the opposition’s annoyance. That’s why the Szilagyi Law LLC motto is “unapologetically thorough.” He recognizes that his approach occasionally ruffles feathers, but he refuses to sacrifice the zealous advocacy of his clients in order to avoid inconveniencing others. He is thorough because his job and his clients demand it.
