Maribeth Collins, Esquire
Attorney at Law
Attorney Maribeth Collins is a dedicated attorney who brings a strong commitment to advocacy, holistic legal representation, and genuine compassion for her clients. She graduated from Northampton Area High School in 2008, and then attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her degree in political science with a concentration in law. From there, she attended Widener Law Commonwealth in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, earning her Juris Doctorate. Maribeth fell in love with the area and has been somewhere in South Central Pennsylvania ever since.
From 2021-2026, she worked as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in York County, Pennsylvania. On top of carrying a full caseload, she was the office’s internship coordinator who interviewed, hired, trained, and managed the office’s interns. She was also responsible for doing community outreach at local high schools, colleges, and law schools. Attorney Collins has extensive courtroom and trial experience representing clients that faced a wide range of criminal charges, from summary offenses to serious felonies. Attorney Collins’ time at the York County Public Defender’s Office taught her that every case symbolizes a person, family, and circumstances that extend far beyond the courtroom. She strives to listen to her clients, understand their individual circumstances, and develop a strategy tailored to their needs and goals.
Attorney Collins is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the York County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Outside the courtroom, Maribeth spends time with her husband, daughter, and three cats. They like to antique and go thrift shopping on the weekends. You can often find Maribeth experimenting with baking sourdough bread and other baked goods (even though she swore she would never enjoy baking). She loves to listen to Taylor Swift and audiobooks/podcasts. Maribeth also is an avid NFL fan and is working her way through seeing a game in every stadium.
Attorney Collins prides herself on building great working relationships with clients and other members of the legal system. She believes that she can best represent her clients when she has an open line of communication and understanding of everyone’s goals and priorities. Attorney Collins will continue fighting for her clients, from all angles, and ensure to humanize them in a system that can often feel cold and impersonal.
